December 7th, 2011Sal Mancilla of Emerson School Named 2012 Rodel Exemplary Teacher
Mr. Sal Mancilla, a 6th grade teacher at Ralph Waldo Emerson School was named a 2012 Rodel Exemplary Teacher. Mr. Mancilla has been teaching for 15 years and is an outstanding example of our teaching staff across Phoenix Elementary School District #1. Congratulations, Mr. Mancilla, and thank you for your dedication to our students.
The Rodel Exemplary Teacher Initiative was created to address the shortage of effective teachers in Arizona’s schools and maximize student achievement through instruction, on classroom at a time.
